Well, most of you wouldn't actually know, but I just came back from a three-week, intensive extracurricular course in which I learned (and bought) a bunch of stuff.
I would have made a journal saying I was leaving during my summer vacation, but I was too busy finishing my final projects and studying for my exams during the last week of last period, the week before leaving for my trip. So, here goes...
I spent three weeks at the UVM, Universidad del Valle de México, at Mexico City. Very interesting things to learn, specially that the city is not as dangerous as they say, at least in comparison to Tegucigalpa. I know I didn't go to every corner of the city, and some may say it's very dangerous, but the people were very different from Hondurans. Not that I really want to talk foul about Hondurans, but drivers at Mexico City are way more gentle than the ones over here; taxi drivers aren't bitches, store owners aren't so envious of their similars, etc., etc.
Oh, and the weekends at the bazaars were wonderful! Lots of stuff I wanted to get and buy for myself... Bunches of animé figurines at great price, cool clothes (I bought myself three hoodies with cool designs), and the touristic places, just WOW.
I'll upload some images later on for you guys to see.
I also went to my second attractions theme park, Six Flags... rode almost all of those rollercoasters... Loved it!
Did serigraphic prints of my own, as well as sand blast designs on cups. I also learned how to develop my own photographic film.
In the end, I really enjoyed the trip... but I discovered I hate flying by TACA. I'm still terrified of getting on an airplane, specially a small one, if it's going to be piloted by one of their people.
I'll upload work as soon as I start doing some. Bye!
